Looking To Keep It Rolling.

The Notre-Dame College Falcons, winners of two straight look to keep things rolling when they travel to Phillipi, West Virginia to take on the Alderson Broaddus University Battlers at Rex Pyles Arena. Coach Mark Richmond set up the matchup:

" It is another great opportunity for our team on the road at Alderson Broaddus. AB is coming off a dominant performance over Glenville State. AB has really good depth, and a lot of interchangeable pieces. We will have to be locked into our scouting report. They have a lot of capable shooters. We will have to do a great job of guaarding the dribble, and keeping them out of the paint,"Richmond explained.

NDC (4-5 4-5 MEC) is coming off a 98-91 win over Davis& Elkins on Wednesday night. Jordan Roland paced the Falcons with 28 points- seven rebounds- five assists- and- three steals, Mike Sampson notched his fourth double-double of the season with 19 points- and- 15 rebounds, Jordan Burton knocked down three 3-pointer's on his way to 18 points, while John Godinez hit all three of his triple tries on his way to 11 points for the game. As a team the Falcons shot 52 percent from the field- and- 55 percent from the 3-point line (11-20.) That continued a pair of trends for NDC. They are shooting a MEC fourth best 47 percent from the field- and- are second in the conference shooting at a 37 percent clip from the 3-point line. They are also shooting a MEC second best at the free throw line, where they are shooting at a 72 percent clip. The Falcons are scoring 78.2 points per game, which is good for ninth in the MEC. On the defensive end, they are allowing a MEC fifth best 80.2 points per game. The Falcons have been solid on the glass as well, where they are first in the MEC in defensive rebounds, and are fourth in the conference in rebounding margin +3.5 (34.4-37.9.)

Roland paces the Falcons, and is 10th in the MEC putting up 18.7 points per night. He is also ninth in the conference averaging 3.4 assists per game. Jordan Burton is notching 13.9 points per contest, and is second in the MEC shooting at a 51 percent clip from the 3-point line. Tyland Crawford nets 12.8 points per game- and- Mike Sampson nearly averages a double-double (10.1 points- and- a- MEC sixth best 9.2 rebounds per night.)

The Battlers (5-5 5-5 MEC) are coming off a 102-94 win over Glenville State Wednesday evening. They were paced in that game by David Shriver with 25 points- Christian Miller-Carr added 16- KJ Walker tallied 14 points to go along with six assists- John Grayson notched 12- and- Tahleik Walker contributed 10. AB shot 60 percent in that game- including 48 percent (12-23) from the 3-point line. They also shot at a 75 percent clip (18-24) at the free throw line. On the season the Battlers are averaging 80.8 points per game, which is sixth in the MEC. At the defensive end they are allowing a MEC ninth best 90.2 points per night. They have been out-rebounded by 4.6 boards per contest (35.3-39.9.)

Shriver leads four Battlers averaging double figures on the season at 13.4 points per night. Walker is scoring 12.8 points per game- and- is leading the team in assists at 5.5 per contest. Miller-Caldwell is putting up 11.2 per game- and- Lacey Watson contributes 10.2 points per game- to go along with a team leading 5.6 rebounds per game.
