NDC Eighth In Region Rankings.

The Notre Dame College Falcons fell to eighth in the most recent Atlantic Region Rankings released late Wednesday afternoon. IUP remained the top team in the region- West Liberty stayed in the second position- and- Virginia State stayed in the third position in the rankings. MercyHurst comes in at fourth- while Fairmont State moved up to the fifth spot. East Stroudsburg is sixth- West Chester is seventh- while the Falcons are in the eighth spot. Slippery Rock is ninth- and- Shippensburg is 10th. The top eight teams in all eight regions will qualify for the NCAA tournament at season's end.

Bruce Hodges talked about the rankings:

" What we expected. We have to go our absolute hardest the rest of the way."Hodges stated.

Drew Scarberry talked about the importance of every game:

" Every game is gonna be a battle and we need to play every game like it is our last." Scarberry said.

NDC will close out the regular season Saturday at Urbana. Tip time is slated for 4 PM.
