NDC Faces CSU in Sunday Exhibition.

The Notre Dame College Falcons (7-3 4-2 MEC) will face the Cleveland State Vikings (3-7) at the Wolstein Center. The Vikings are 3-3 at the Wolstein Center on the year and 0-4 on the road. On the opposite side the Falcons have just one loss away from Murphy Gym. Tip time is set for 1 PM.

NDC is coming off a 86-81 overtime loss to Charleston Saturday. Will Vorhees led NDC with 19 points- Drew Scarberry had 18- Isaiah Sanders had 14- Larenz Thurman added 12- and- Halil Parks had 11. Vorhees came into the weekend averaging 23 points and 10.6 rebounds a night. Thurman is averaging 21.8 going into the weekend- Sanders (14.2) and Parks (13.3) also average double figures for the season. Angelo Cugini leads the team in rebounds at 11.4 per contest.

Koenig talked about the challenge ahead:

" CSU is a tough opponent. We have our work cut out for us. We look forward to the opportunity."

CSU was a 82-64 winner over Bowling Green last time out. Tyree Appleby had a career high 37 points in the win. Stefan Kenic also scored in double figures with 15. The Vikings shot 50 percent from the field and 50 percent from the 3-point line in that game. They only shot 46 percent from the free throw line. They had 18 assists and 12 turnovers as a team.

Appleby leads the Vikings in scoring at 16.9 points per game- he also dishes out 4.8 assists a night. Kenic scores 10.9 a game. CSU scores 74.3 points a game- while they allow 77.1 a night. Jalaam Hill leads the team in rebounding at 6.6 per game.

Bruce Hodges talked about the CSU matchup tomorrow:

" We have to come out ready to play. They are very beatable but we can't be flat. We have to have energy the whole game."

Vorhees agreed:

" We have to come to come out and play NDC basketball and there's no reason we can't come out with a win."

Thurman agreed with both Hodges and Vorhees:

" I agree with what has already been said. If we come out and play NDC basketball there's no doubt we can come out with a W."
