NDC Coach Tim Koenig talked briefly about the Virginia State game:

" These guys are a good basketball team. They can score the ball. They played Virginia State who was in the top 25 in the country and it was a two point game with three minutes to go. Anybody could have won that game."

Kamgain is leading the Cardinals scoring 17.8 points per game. He is seventh in the MEC getting 1.8 steals a contest. Hoban is averaging 15.6 points per game- while Tariq Woody is getting a team leading seven rebounds per contest.

Koenig talked a little more about Wheeling:

" They are really good inside. They will play four guards at a time. Woody and Kamgain are really playing well. Gentry can really shoot it."

Koenig talked a little about his team:

" We have really unselfish guys. They are not concerned where the game is being played, they are going to go out and compete."

Koenig spoke about his team's health and the opportunity that is in front of them:

" We have beaten Wheeling at the conference tournament and beaten them at our place. But we have never beaten them at there place. This is the healthiest our team has been all season, Angelo has practiced the last two days and should be good to go. Larenz has been battling the flu so we will see how he feels Wednesday. We really look forward to a giant opportunity to go 1-0 at there place for the first time ever."

Bruce Hodges talked about the importance of a good start Wednesday:

" It is a game where we can not afford to come out flat. We must be ready to play. We have to rebound the ball better and it will help having our two bigs back! Our goal is to go 1-0 on the day and we must execute offensively and defensively to do so."
