NDC Set To Battle Washington Adventist Prior To Holiday Break.

"Older, experienced team on the road at Washington Adventist. They have some really good athletes and strong post players. We'll have to defend and rebound at a high level to go into the christmas break on a high note," NDC head coach Mark Richmond stated.

NDC (4-5 2-4 MEC) is coming off a 88-67 win over the University of the District Of Columbia on Saturday. RJ Ogom paced the Falcons with 16 points off the bench in 19 minutes, Gbolahan Adio added 14, Devin Haid had 12, and Andre Harris tallied 11. The Falcons shot a season hgh 55.7 percent from the field in the contest. They also made 11 triples (11-28 for 39.3 percent) and went 9-10 at the free throw line. They also shared the ball well dishing out 22 assists in the game. NDC scores an MEC sixth best 81.2 points per game while they are seventh on the defensive end giving up 82.8 points per night. From the field they shoot an MEC sixth best 43.9 percent while they are fourth on defense as the opposition is shooting 42.2 percent. From the 3-point line the Falcons are ninth shooting 32.9 percent as they are eighth guarding the 3-point line as the opposition shoots 35.2 percent. The Falcons shoot 71.9 percent from the free throw line which is sixth in the conference and get out rebounded by 1.9 (40.7-42.6) rebounds per game. NDC turns the ball over nearly 15 times per contest,are third in the MEC dishing out 15.7 assists per game, and block 5.7 shots per game which is second in the MEC. Haid is the teams leading scorer at 12.8 points per game. The redshirt sophomore is fourth in the MEC blocking 1.4 shots per game, is 10th in the MEC in minutes played at 29.3 per game, leads the MEC shooting 96.7 percent at the free throw line which is top five in the country, dishes out an MEC 10th best 2.8 assists per night, and picks up 1.3 steals per contest. Harris is right behind Haid in scoring at 12.7 points per game. The Brush product leads the MEC in rebounding at 7.9 per night, gets 1.8 steals per game which is good for eighth in the MEC blocks 1.1 shots per game which is 10th in the MEC, and shoots an MEC fourth best 48.9 percent from the floor. Ogom scores 12.4 per game, shoots 92.9 percent from the free throw line which is second in the MEC and top 20 in the country, and gets 1.0 steal and one block per game. Adio scores 11.9 per night and dishes out 2.3 assists per contest.

The Shock (5-6) are coming off a 90-70 loss to Georgetown (Kentucky) College. Michael Brown and James Lee led the Shock with 18 ponts each, Tundu Scrivner had 11 and Xzavaier Hawkins added 11 to go with 10 rebounds. Lee had five assists in the contest. WAU scores 74.5 points per game while they give up 74.3 points per night. They shoot 45.5 percent from the field, 31.1 percent from the 3-point line, and 62.3 percent at the free throw line. The Shock get 36.1 rebounds per game and dish out 14 assists per contest. Scrivner leads the team in scring at 12.9 points per game, Lee gets 11.4 per night and grabs a team leading 6.4 rebounds per game. Mohamed Bundu scores 11.7 points per game, grabs 5.6 rebounds, and dishes out a team leading 3.1 assists per contest. Isaiah Anderson gets 11.4 per game and grabs 5.6 rebounds per night.
