NDC Tabs Williams Assistant Men's Basketball Coach.

Notre Dame College athletic director Scott Swain named Duncan Williams to the Men's basketball staff on Monday.

" We are really excited to bring Duncan on-board. With his history with Coach Richmond and them knowing each other since childhood it seems like a perfect fit. We think he is a great fit to

our men's basketball staff and we really welcome his experience." Swain stated.

Head Coach Mark Richmond talked about adding Williams to his staff:

" I am very excited to add a coach of Duncan's caliber to our program. We have known each other for over 25 years going back to childhood. He is extremely well respected for his ability to develop players and his excellent feel for the game- as well as the pulse of the student-athlete. He will bring lots of energy and experience to Notre Dame College." Richmond said.

Williams is from West Virginia and has been coaching for the last decade. He was assistant coach at Hedgesville High School where he and Richmond grew up together. Williams has spent the past eight seasons as assistant coach at Alderson Broaddus College.

The Rams were members of the Mountain East Conference until this season. Williams received his masters at West Virginia University.
