Redshirt Freshman John Godinez gave his thoughts ahead of this one:

" The key to the game is our defense and like our coaches said turnovers and offensive rebounds are key, we have to make them uncomfortable and play aggressive. We all know we can score but it's going to come down to the little things and the 50/50 balls,"Godinez explained.

Richmond gave his final thought:

"The next step in our program is being able to go on the road and beat quality teams. This is an opportunity to do that."
