NDC Travels To Buffalo To Face D'Youville.

"Haven't played in some time but we've been staying sharp, "NDC Guard Gbolahan Adio mentioned. "Our biggest thing will be taking care of the ball and setting the tone on defense."

NDC (5-4 4-2 MEC) is coming off a pair of wins over Davis & Elkins and West Virginia Wesleyan. In the win over D& E four players scored in double figures led by 18 points a piece from Daylin Lee and Andre Harris. Jaedon Willis and Adio rounded out the double digit scorers with 10 in that one. In the 91-47 drubbing of West Virginia Wesleyan again the Falcons had four players score in double figures. Willis paced NDC with 19, Adio netted 13, Harris tallied 11, and DeAirius Barker netted 10.

Willis is third in the MEC and 20th in all of Division II pouring in 20.9 points per contest. He is tied for seventh in the MEC making 2.3 triples per contest, and is sixth in the MEC shooting 84.6 percent at the free throw line. Willis is 12th in the country making 55 free throws on the year. He also leads the team in assists with 2.8 per night.

"As always we have to set the tempo early and make them play our game, "Willis explained. "If we are the aggressors we will have a good game and get the result that we want."

Harris leads the Falcons in rebounding at 5.3 per night. As a team the Falcons score an MEC fifth best 82.6 points per game, while defensively they are giving up an MEC third best 77.1 points per night. Opponents are shooting 41.6 percent from the floor and 29.2 percent from the 3-point line which is good for for second in the MEC.

"Looking forward to taking the team up to Buffalo/ Niagara Falls for a couple days to close out the semester, "NDC Head Coach Mark Richmond said. "

DYU lost 100-54 to LeMoyne last time out. They have lost three of the last four (all on the road.) The lone win being an 89-82 victory over Mercy College. The Saints (3-8) are 2-2 at home on the season and have not played a home game since 12/4. They score 70.4 points per game but are last in the conference shooting at a 39.9 percent clip from the field and 29.2 percent from the 3-point line. They are in the bottom of the conference rebounding as well as they grab 32.5 caroms per contest. They are third in the conference getting 8.9 steals per game. Willie Kondrat leads the team at 17 points per game while Luke Theisen gets 14.9 per contest which are top six in the ECC. Kondrat leads the team in rebounding grabbing six per night.

Richmond gave the final thoughts prior to this one:

"D'Youville has a talented team and are really good at home. They are a newer Division II program who has really invested in their program. As we have learned so far this season we will need our best effort to win on the road. "
