"We are looking forward to getting back on the court and getting back on track. Obviously we had a tough week last week. It was an emotional game against West Virginia State on Wednesday and it took us a while to get going at UC. We have to be ready to play against a team that is playing much better. We will have to be ready to play and give our best effort on Wednesday," NDC head coach Mark Richmond explained.

Last time out NDC was a 98-79 loser to the University of Charleston. Andre Harris and Devin Haid each scored 17 points, while Gbolahan Adio added nine. The Falcons shot 45 percent from the field, 33 percent (8-24) from the 3-point line and 83.3 percent (15-18) from the free throw line. NDC shoots 45.2 percent which is fourth in the MEC and on the defensive end the opposition shoots 43.8 percent which is fifth in the MEC. At the free throw line the Falcons shoot an MEC ninth best 70.9 percent while on the glass the Falcons are ninth being out rebounded by 2.5 (38.3-40.8) boards per contest. The Falcons are seventh in both turnover margin and assist to turnover ratio. NDC is fourth in the conference dishing out 14.6 assists per contest as a team as well. Richmond talked a little about the offensive struggles of late:

"The ball has been sticking a little on offense. We have to continue to move the ball and share it. A lot of times guys think they have to make plays for themselves. It's about making plays for other people. Getting an advantage and keeping that advantage. Getting the best shot we can. Saturday when we got behind we tried to shoot our way into it which backfired on us and allowed them to get some run outs and easy ones. We need to move the ball a little more."

Haid leads the team and is tops in several categories this season. His 14.5 points per game are tops on the team and tied for ninth in the MEC. He shoots 46.8 percent from the field which is eighth in the MEC. The Wooster product also leads the team in assists dishing out 2.5 per night. Haid is tied for fourth in the MEC blocking 1.2 shots per game, is fourth in the MEC in steals per game (1.8) and leads the MEC as well as being third in the country shooting 93.6 percent from the free throw line. Haid plays 29.7 minutes per game which is also top 10 in the MEC. Harris scores 13.1 points per game and is fourth in the MEC grabbing 6.9 rebounds per night. Adio rounds out the double digit scorers netting 11.3 points per contest and dishes out 2.3 assists per contest.

FSU shot 52.9 percent from the floor, 48.1 percent (13-27) from the 3-point line and 71.4 percent (25-35) from the free throw line.

Richmond talked about the win last time out:

"They had three guys (Lewis, Freeman, and Day) who played really well in the win against Wheeling. They have some freshman that are good players that are getting better as the season goes along. Keeping them off the glass is going to be a big key."

As a team the Bobcats score an MEC worst 74.4 points per game while on the defensive end they give up an MEC 10th best 85.3 points per night. The Bobcats also struggle shooting the ball. They shoot 35.5 percent from the field and 31 percent from the 3-point line which are both at the bottom of the MEC, on defense the opposition shoots 45.1 percent from the field which is 10th and 38.7 percent from 3-point land which is 11th in the MEC. Freeman also averages in double figures at 11.9 points per night.

Richmond gave these thoughts about him:

"Freeman shot the ball well and got to the free throw line against Wheeling."

Koby Baptiste leads Frostburg in rebounding grabbing 6.2 per night while both Lewis and Johnson lead the team with 21 assists on the year.

Richmond talked about Day:

"Day is a six foot seven kid who made four threes against Wheeling. We have a lot of talented players throughout the MEC."

"If we play for each other on both ends of the floor for 40 minutes we should handle business," NDC senior Trent Williams said.

Richmond gave the final thought:

"We need to execute the scouting report and be ready to play."
