NDC Welcomes Bryant and Stratton Wednesday.

The Notre Dame College Falcons (7-2 5-1 MEC) will take on the Bryant and Stratton College Buffalo Bobcats (6-4) at Murphy Gym on Wednesday night, as they will look to match the best start in program history. The game is slated to tip at 6 PM at Murphy Gym and you can catch all the action on the Mountain East Digital Network at MountainEast.TV

Head Coach Mark Richmond talked about the thought process of putting Bryant and Stratton on the schedule:

" We were looking for a game over Christmas break, and we did not want to take a full seven or eight days off before we go down to Florida this weekend,"Richmond explained.

" They are a newer team and agreed to came and play us. For us we scheduled the game kind of late and it is another opportunity for us to get better. It should help us in the long run. We went through some growing pains the last couple days. It is what your non conference schedule is supposed to do. "

He talked about the reality check the last time the team was in this situation:

" The last time we were in the situation (against Lourdes) last Monday we were not ready to go and we got a dose of reality. I think this time the guys will be excited and ready to play. Our plan as a team is to try and keep this team off balance, maybe play some zone and pressure them full court. Hopefully we will get to work on some things we have not worked on yet this season if we play this game the right way."
