The Notre Dame College Men's basketball team was selected seventh as voted by the Mountain East Conference coaches on Wednesday afternoon. The Falcons return double digit scorer Andre Harris from a season ago. They also return Gbolohan Adio, Kaleb Torrence, Jamarr Talbert, Darrius Bush, Isaiah Sanders, Jevontae Jones, Yan Kanklela, and Kameron Taylor from last season's squad that went 18-12 and won a tournament game for the first time since 2019.

"We are excited to get going this year. Being picked seventh in the conference, our players are using that as motivation. We have a lot of unknowns on our team this season, "head coach Mark Richmond said. We have a group that really likes to work. We open the season with IUP and Pitt-Johnstown who are both NCAA tournament teams from last season.

"We will see about the pre-season ranking but we will definitely use it as motivation, "Adio mentioned. "The biggest strength of our team will be our team chemistry and depth, "Adio added.
