NDCWBB To Play Four Non Conference Games As Well As Conference Challenge On Top of MEC Slate.

The Notre Dame College Women's Falcons coming off a MEC North Division Title and 14-4 record in the shortened season that concluded in March will play four non conference games including the Conference Challenge in the 2021-22 campaign, which will be the first for Imani Gordon at the helm.

NDC returns three of five starters from the previous squad led by Jada Marone who netted 20.8 points per game. Marina Adachi put up 13.4 points per night, and shot 43 percent from the 3-point line for the year. Amil Ali-Shakir put up seven points per contest as she started 15 of the team's 18 contests. Jen Oduho returns after missing four games due to an injury. Tamia Ridley started a trio of games and returns as well. The Falcons have four newcomers in Sydney Barney, Lilee Carlson, Deylana Forrest, and Ledia Vajusi. NDCWBB will have Abby Hatter, Lizzie Imrie, Alana Ellis, Kailey Tyna, Nadia Jackson, and Emma Martecheva return as well from the previous roster.

NDCWBB will open the season with the Conference Challenge on 11/13 and 11/14 when they take on Slippery Rock and Fayeteville State in Institute, West Va. The home opener for NDC will be on 11/17 when they host MercyHurst. The Falcons will open conference play on 11/20 when they travel to Wheeling. After a home matchup in conference against West Liberty on 11/23 NDC will battle Slippery Rock for a second time on 11/27. Glenville State will be the opponent on the road on 12/1 before Concord and Davis &Elkins come to South Euclid on 12/4 and 12.8. 12/11 NDC will travel to West Virginia Wesleyan before the squad plays an exhibition against Division I Bowling Green At BG the following day. 12/19 NDC will play at home against Walsh.

In the month of January the month will begin when the Bobcats of Frostburg come to South Euclid on 1.5. After a road trip to Fairmont State and West Virginia State the Falcons will spend the next week at home when they play Charleston and Wheeling. The next week will see a road trip to Alderson Broaddus and Concord. Glenville State comes to South Euclid to conclude January, before a rematch with West Virginia Wesleyan on 2.2. Davis and Elkins on the road is the next opponent on 2.5. The annual NDC pink out game will be on 2.9 when NDC takes on Fairmont State. The Falcons will play three of the final five games on the road concluded by Alderson Broaddus on senior day on 2/26. The MEC tournament will conclude the season at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling from 3.2 through 3.6.
