In the last installment of the region rankings prior to the NCAA D2 selection show on Sunday evening the Notre Dame College Falcons dropped one place to ninth. IUP remains the top seed in the region and has alll but locked up hosting the region. West Liberty remained second- Virginia State stayed in the third position after winning the CIAA tournament title. Fairmont State moved up one spot to fourth, while East Stroudsburg is now fifth. Shippensburg made the biggest jump since the last rankings after defeating West Chester last week. They went from 10th to sixth. West Chester is now seventh- while MercyHurst is in the eighth position. NDC is ninth- while Slippery Rock dropped one spot to 10th.

NDC will open play in the MEC Toournament when they take on West Virginia State on Friday at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Va. Tip time is set for 2:15 PM.
