Vorhees Tabbed NABC All District First Team.

The awards continue to keep coming for Will Vorhees. On Monday the NABC named All- District First Team and to the surprise of no one Vorhees was selected. The voting was done by the coaches in the region. He is the first NDC player to be selected to the team twice in his career.
Vorhees adds the honor to several other honors he has collected this season. The red shirt senior from Lima was the MEC Player Of The Year and the Atlantic Region Player Of The Year. He was selected to the MEC All-Tournament Team along with teammates Bruce Hodges and Larenz Thurman. Vorhees was named the Most Outstanding Player in the MEC Tournament as he averaged 23 points- and- 11.3 rebounds per game in leading the Falcons to the first tournament title in school history and a first ever trip to the national tournament.
Vorhees was second overall in all of Division 2 putting up 28.8 points per game on the season. He was also second in the country in double-doubles, collecting 23 for the season. He led all of D2 in field goals made with 343 this season. He was eighth in the country in rebounds at 11.3 per contest.
The redshirt senior became the all time leading scorer in NDC history this season (2,761 points.) He scored 30 or more points 14 times this year. This included scoring 40 or more points on four different occasions. Vorhees closed out his career with 44 points in the team's loss to Virginia State in the Atlantic Region Opening Round.
